(PC trauma dejavus coming back to me! ) And after this final reboot I think everythings stabilized and the Steermouse settings stays the same. This happened couple of times when I rebooted. I adjusted the settings to fast (I like it that way), but all the sudden the mouse stopped working fast, although the settings stayed the same. (Because the Apple keybord doesn´t seem a quality product to me like the Mighty Mouse).Ģ.
So I´ve been wondering if the Apple keybord´s USB port is broken or something. Now this has happened to me before, even with the Mighty Mouse and Logitech MX400.
But if I wait awhile or unplug and plug in again my new G5 mouse from the apple keybords USB port, it goes away. Every restart I get "Bluetooth Mouse Assistant saying, that no mouse is connected". Then I noticed there was somekind of "error report" in System Preferences->Steermouse, that logitech driver wasn´t uninstalled and it opened a window for me were I could uninstall the "Logitech Control Center". I installed Steermouse and thought it wasn´t working quite it was suppose to. I thought the drivers were uninstalled, but apparently they weren´t. Then I "uninstalled" the driver writing "Logitech" in the Finder and deleting 3 files it found. I had Logitech MX400 and it´s drivers installed. I believe I have gotten myself in mess, because I don´t know how to uninstall properly. My keyboard is an apple one.I need some basic understanding how to uninstall drivers and applications on Mac. in the device manager and let windows rediscover the mouse and keyboard but the mouse lag is still there Since it work in safe mod, I tried to uninstall every USB device, HUD interface, etc.
If we use my keyboard with USB hud, everything is fine. The only change is that the mouse is now connected directly to the computer. Like a software or a driver is the cause. It's not a hardware problem, since his mouse work well under safe mod and work well until about few second after windows has finished booting. When he tried to use his USB mouse (the same mouse as mime), the mouse was lagging so bad : it take about 5 seconds to refresh the cursor. All went well, I installed every application he need before leave him his computer. I have installed windows on my brother's computer with my USB mouse plugged into my USB keyboard with built-in USB hub.
